Eccelso Hotel - Rome

The homemade pasta at nearby Trattoria Vaticano Giggi was mind-blowing, a true taste of Rome! The room was impeccably clean, and I felt right at home with the warming hospitality of the staff.

First of all, the Eccelso hotel is NOT a hotel. It's an apartment, and finding it was a bit of a hassle with a 15-minute trek from the reception.

Make sure you stay in the double room with the possibility of complete blackout for sleeping.

I had a really nice experience here, everything was brand-new, the location was excellent close to the historic centre of Rome as well as excellent restaurants and public transport links. It was so close to Ottaviano, really enjoyed its location so close to everything.

Great customer service and clean, comfortable beds.

The lack of soundproofing. We were constantly disturbed by noise from the corridors, especially in the morning when cleaning staff were nearby. The bathroom had no ventilation, quite unpleasant after showers.

The staff was friendly and were great too ensure my comfort. My room was lovely and impeccably clean.

I appreciated the comfortable bed with me a restful night's sleep after a long day of exploring. Other guests also mentioned that the Italian breakfast delivered to the room was a lovely touch.

Just a great match for a quick stopover in Rome at a reasonable price. I was really surprised by the cozy, clean room and the friendly staff who assisted with local recommendations. Better to book early if you're visiting around holidays to secure a good rate.

Eccelso provided an really good experience during my work stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and excellently located for visiting Rome's sights. The standout feature was the staff's helpfulness. They were pretty good, happily assisting with any questions regarding local attractions and transport. The breakfast option was good, as I enjoyed an Italian breakfast with croissants, orange juice, and cappuccino delivered right to my room for just 10 euros.

Checkout was at an early 10am.

I loved that everything from the vatican museums to piazza navona was just a comfortable stroll away. The room was super clean and the staff went the extra mile to.
